This sauce is great for Fresh Spring Rolls, Vietnamese Noodle Salad Bowls, and a lot of other Vietnamese dishes like Banh Xeo (Savory Vietnamese Fried Crepes). Now some have told me they can drink this sauce just straight up 🙂 If you want to make some yummy dipping sauce you can find the recipe here Spicy Garlic Fish Sauce Dipping Sauce.
Banh Xeo is a Savory Vietnamese Fried Crepe made up of rice flour, water, a little coconut cream or coconut milk and some tumeric powder to give it that nice beautiful golden yellow color. These crepes are usually filled with pork belly, shrimp, bean sprouts, and sometimes yellow mung beans, and eaten with lettuce, some fresh asian herbs and a delicious Spicy Garlic Fish Sauce Dipping Sauce. I love rolling mine in rice paper, with some lettuce and fresh herbs and dipping it in the garlic chili fish sauce. I am pretty sure this dish needs no introduction 🙂 You can find this salad dish (also known as YUM NUA) in almost every Thai Restaurant and they will have their own style of how they make it and what they add to it. This dish is one of my go to dishes I bring to a party. Always a hit! If you would like to make some at home, you are at the right place 🙂 You can find the recipe here Thai Beef & Cucumber Salad. I hope you enjoy it ❤
I had pre marinated pork riblets that I marinated with my Spicy Garlic Cilantro Marinade I made a few months ago that I had stored in the freezer. I decided to take them out and fry them up Thai Style & eat it with jasmine rice. I love pre marinading meats and storing them in the freezer so I can just take them out to defrost the night before or the morning of and it makes for a quick and easy meal. If you want to try this recipe out you can find it here Deep Fried Crispy Marinated Pork Riblets (Thai Style aka Kraduke Mhoo Tod). Enjoy it alone, with jasmine rice, or with sticky rice. I made this for my husband and niece when she stayed with us and they both loved it!! ❤
This is a great vegetarian dish you can easily whip up at home in no time flat. Its well known in Asia. Most asian grocery stores will have them as Ong Choy (in chinese) or Rau Muang (in Vietnamese). This is my Thai version, and I hope you like it.You can find this recipe here Phad Pak Boong (Stir Fry Asian Water Spinach)
This is a very easy and fast meal for the whole family to enjoy. It is very YUMMY and is gluten free. I made this dish while my niece stayed with us and she LOVED it! She went for seconds ❤ I recently found out that I have hypothyroid and I read that cutting out gluten might help me with my hypothyroidism. So, I have been cutting out some gluten and also some dairy from my diet a little at a time. The only dairy in this recipe is the freshly grated parmesan cheese. You can make this dairy free by not topping the pasta with the parmesan cheese. Just because it is gluten free doesn’t mean it isn’t DELICIOUS 🙂 I hope you like this recipe! I had some vegetable dumplings in the freezer and some green beans in the fridge and this is what I came up with. It is very simple, fast and easy to make. You can make this dish with any dumplings and vegetables you like or that you already have on hand. You can serve this dish rice or noodles. We had it with ramen noodles that I quickly boiled, drained & seasoned lightly with a little mushroom soy sauce. Makes for a fast lunch/dinner meal. I hope you try it and like it ❤ You can find the recipe here Garlic Sesame Pan Fried Vegetable Dumplings & Green Beans.
