Korean Tofu Side Dish

This tofu dish is simple and delicious! A very fast and easy dish to make at home with simple ingredients that you probably already have at home.

You can use any firmness of tofu you like. In this dish I used soft tofu. I love how the inside has a really soft texture and a crunchy texture on the outside once you fry it in a pan.

Soft Tofu 1 pack
Low Sodium Soy Sauce   1/2 cup
Sesame Oil   1/2 teaspoon
Sesame Seeds   1/2 teaspoon
Brown Sugar   3/4 teaspoon
Chopped Garlic   3 cloves
Chopped Green Onions   2 stalks (save some for garnish)
Oil   1-2 tablespoon (oil of preference)

Lets Get Started:

Have a big plate or baking pan and place some paper towels on top ready. I always use a baking pan because it is big and you have room to space out the tofu.

Cut tofu into 1/2 inch squares and place them on the big plate or baking pan to soak up the liquid and place another paper towel on top of the tofu. And let it sit for a few minutes and go to the next step.

While you let the tofu sit and dry, combine all the seasoning ingredients together in a small bowl, mix it very well and set it to the side.

Now you can fry the tofu. Add some oil to a pan and fry the tofu until both sides are golden brown on medium heat. Once they are done you can place them back on the paper towel to soak off some of the oil.

Place the tofu on a serving dish and spoon the sauce on top. Garnish with the chopped green onions you saved from earlier. Done!

I hope you enjoy!
