These sushi rolls are so simple, fast, and super easy to make for a snack or a small lunch or for me, anytime of the day 🙂 You can be creative and add anything you like in them that you have on hand. For example chicken, or make it vegetarian etc…(just don’t add to much or it will be hard to roll). For this recipe I have added smoked salmon and cream cheese. I love adding avocados to them as well but 😦 I didn’t have any on hand at the time. What makes it easy and simple is that I use Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice that takes 90 seconds to cook in the microwave (brown rice, or the one that has brown, black and red rice, I have gotten the butter and garlic flavor and that one worked well to) (you can get any flavor but I suggest getting one that doesn’t have to many flavors in it that it will over power the smoked salmon and the other flavors you will be adding to it). This Tempura Fish Dish is a little spicy, garlicky, salty, and best of all BUTTERY! The fish is deep fried and then sautéed in a spicy garlic butter sauce. You will find this dish at most Thai Restaurants but made with chicken. I wanted to do something different and add seafood because my husband and I love seafood and hey why not! This dish has all the wonderful flavors from coconut milk, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal (I think they are in the ginger family), and chile peppers. It should be a little creamy, sour, salty, and spicy! This soup can be eaten with jasmine rice and also made into a noodle dish with any type of noodles.
